We run a small boarding stable on a family farm located adjacent to the Little Gunpowder State Park in historic Joppa, Maryland.  We have 300 acres of pasture, woods, and fields, and access to hundreds of miles of riding trails maintained by the State of Maryland.We also grow our own hay - mostly orchard grass, with some timothy and alfalfa-mix.  Although we keep enough to feed the horses we own or board, in most years we have additional hay, in both square and round bales, for sale to the owners of horses, cattle, or other livestock.
